The Blue Cave and Zanjice Beach by Speedboat

Submitted by carmine.nezi on

After tendering from the yacht, you’ll board a zodiac right at the pier for an exhilarating exploration of the Bay of Kotor. The small boat will whisk you past the tall, dramatic cliffs for which the bay is so famous, and take you out to the open waters of the Adriatic. A series of sea caves are carved into the coast of the Lustica peninsula, the most famous of which is the Blue Cave. You’ll be able to swim from the boat into the formation to see how the rays of the sun illuminate its nine-meter-tall vaulted ceiling in blue hues. And the waters are so clear that you’ll be able to see the sea floor, 13 meters below. From there you’ll motor a short distance to Zanjice Beach, a cove that overlooks the entrance to the bay. Enjoy free time to relax on the pebbly beach or swim in the sheltered waters before the scenic trip back to the yacht.
