Then walk to Ibiza Cathedral, which dates to the 13th century and houses notable works of Gothic art. You will continue past the elegant town hall, which at various times since the 16th century has served as a monastery, hospital, school and prison – its museum tells many tales. Nearby you will see the Santo Domingo Church, begun in 1592 and completed over a century later.
