As the catamaran glides out of the protected natural harbor of Admiralty Bay, the wind typically picks up. You’ll sail past white-sand beaches and verdant hills en route to Bequia’s westernmost point. There the private eco-sanctuary of Moonhole is a striking sight, its collection of homes built into the hillsides and around trees and natural rock formations. The catamaran then tacks south toward a group of tiny islets that include Petit Nevis, the site of a former whaling station that dates to the 19th century. There the captain will drop anchor so you can cool off with a swim, go snorkeling or just stretch out on deck and take in the views.
